CLI-FI and Screenwriting course October 2024
Whether you already have a work in progress, want to start something new, or are simply interested in crafting a story from a climate and ecological perspective, this is the course for you. Novelist Liz Jensen and script consultant Eva Svenstedt-Ward will share their experience on aspects of narrative, including world-building, character, theme, plot and context, and help you deploy them creatively as a response to the practical and emotional challenges of living in an era of rapid change. You will also benefit from a session with creative partners, Climate Spring, to understand how we can broaden the approaches to climate storytelling beyond the science and the impacts and how you can free yourself to write them. After an immersive week of discussions, hands-on exercises and tutorials, you will come away with more confidence in incorporating the most pressing issue of our times into your creative practice.
